Motivate your students with HOT thinking skills
Learn about high order thinking skills in this LIXON Education free webinar by Kate Cory-Wright
Course Start Date: 10 Nov 2016
Every week in class we ask our learners hundreds of questions. But how many of the questions really make the learners think about what they are learning? This course will enable EFL/ESL teachers of children to learn how to ask effective questions to get the most of their students.
This session is ideal for teachers of elementary children who are learning English as a second or foreign language. This is an excellent opportunity to learn from Kate Cory-Wright, an award-winning materials writer, teacher trainer, and teacher with 30 years of experience in ELT, exactly how to take the academic educational theory of Bloom's Taxonomy and apply it in their classes in order to activate their students' critical thinking skills. She will focus on the higher order thinking skills (HOTS) and how we can adapt some fun and practical activities for elementary students, so that learners gain more from our questions.
